Sing and Sign Choir

Here at Rowan Tree Primary school we use Signalong within our Total Communication Environment, sign language is used throughout the day in all aspects of school life. On a Friday, learners have the opportunity to opt into attending the Sing and Sign Choir. Together, pupils and teachers work together to host an election in September and January to decide which songs we would like to learn -  this is entirely led by the childrens interests.

The Sing and Sign choir then go out and perform to members of our local community. We're especially proud of their work visiting local care homes and elderly residents.
