Cooking with Rowan
Cooking with Rowan is open to all pupils at Rowan Tree Primary School. Each child has the opportunity to take part in a weekly session during the academic year, with places available upon request.
During their session, pupils work in small groups to bake a delicious treat alongside Rowan, our Therapy Dog. Recipes are specially chosen so Rowan can safely enjoy the treats alongside the children, making the experience inclusive and fun for everyone.
In addition to baking, pupils have time to engage in related activities such as decorating their creations, learning about healthy ingredients, and sharing their treats with friends (and Rowan!). It’s a hands-on, engaging way to develop practical skills while bonding with our lovable furry friend.
Cooking with Rowan isn’t just about baking—it’s about creating lasting memories, learning new skills, and spending quality time with Rowan and classmates. It’s a club filled with laughter, delicious smells, and wagging tails! 🐾👩🍳🍪
