Festive Treats and Wagging Tails!

This term, we’ve launched an exciting new club at Rowan Tree Primary School: Cooking with Rowan! Each week, pupils from different classes join forces in the kitchen to bake a delicious treat alongside our school’s much-loved Therapy Dog, Rowan. The best part? The treats are specially chosen so that Rowan can enjoy them too, creating a fun and inclusive experience for everyone involved.

This week, in the spirit of the season, we’ve been busy making festive biscuits! From rolling out dough to cutting out shapes and decorating, our budding bakers embraced the challenge, showing off their creativity and teamwork. Rowan, of course, was on hand to supervise (and eagerly await his taste test!).

The club is about more than just baking—it’s a wonderful way for pupils to bond with Rowan, learn new skills, and enjoy the joy of creating something they can share. We can’t wait to see what treats are on the menu next week! 🐾🍪
