Year Six pupils at Rowan Tree recently welcomed some Wigan BeWell representatives, who came to watch the delivery of an e-bug workshop led by VIcki Lowe focusing on the spread of infections during the winter months. The session taught students how germs spread, the importance of handwashing, and how to stay healthy during colder weather.

BeWell, Wigan Council’s health and wellbeing initiative, works with schools to support healthier lifestyles. The workshop also highlighted the importance of community care and staying active during winter.
